The Bottom of the Pit
For two decades, I was trapped in the relentless grip of addiction.
Homelessness, lost family, bruises from domestic violence, and the ache of three broken marriages became my daily reality.
I drifted from state to state, from detox centers to jail cells, numb to the world, utterly lost.
Each arrest, each treatment program, each bruised heart chipped away at my hope, leaving me to believe that this life was all I deserved.
A Spark in the Darkness
Then, in 2008, I hit a wall.
In a moment of desperation, I surrendered everything I was holding onto and cried out to God. In an instant, He lifted my addiction—the weight, the cravings, the chaos—gone.
That flicker of hope became my lifeline, sparking a fire to heal my pain and confront the beliefs that had kept me chained.
It was a long road, but each step brought me closer to the life I had only dreamed about.
From Brokenness to Purpose
Today, I am a Registered Addiction Counselor. I share my story with others who feel lost in the darkness, speaking in jails, recovery centers, and churches.
I want them to you I’ve been there, in the pit of hopelessness, wondering if I’d ever be free.
I’ve felt the shame, the regret, the searing loneliness of hitting rock bottom. But I’ve also found that healing is possible—and that joy and light await on the other side.
My Mission: A Hand to Hold, A Path Forward
Recovery is more than leaving addiction behind; it’s about reclaiming your life and finding your worth again.
My mission is to walk beside you as you confront your pain and rediscover who you were meant to be.
I am living proof that no matter how far you’ve fallen, there’s a way back to yourself.
You are not alone. Together, we can rise from the ashes and build a future worth fighting for.
