From rock bottom to redeemed — my story is living proof that no pit is too deep for the grace of God.
I know what it’s like to feel stuck in destructive cycles you can’t seem to break — to want freedom so badly, but not know how to get there.
For years, I lived in torment. On the outside, I wore a smile.
​
But inside, I was drowning in self-hatred, shame, guilt, and emotional pain I didn’t know how to heal.
​
I carried years of resentment and unforgiveness — toward others and myself.
​
I cycled through one dysfunctional relationship after another, all fueled by low self-worth and the deep-rooted belief that I wasn’t worthy of love, peace, or joy.
I battled perfectionism, people-pleasing, and a harsh inner critic that told me I would never be enough.
​
I numbed my pain through addiction — to alcohol, drugs, food, and control — desperate for relief from the noise in my mind.
My life was a series of self-sabotaging choices, fueled by a victim mentality and unchecked anger.
​
I wanted to change — but I didn’t know how.
I landed in jail several times because of drugs and alcohol.
I burned bridges, lost everything, and spiraled into deeper despair.
Then, on July 13, 2008, I reached the end of myself.
​
Completely broken, unemployable, hopeless, and out of options, I dropped to my knees and cried out to Jesus.
​
“God, I can’t do this anymore. I surrender! Please take this from me.”
​
And He did. In that sacred moment, the miracle I had longed for finally happened.
​
The obsession and compulsion to drink and drug were miraculously lifted.
​
The eating disorder that had ruled my life for 25 years — gone.
The shame, self-hatred, and torment in my mind — silenced.
​
Everything changed. It was like God vacuumed the chaos out of my spirit.
​
Every chain that had held me captive was broken. I stood up different.
​
Whole.​
​
Redeemed.
​
Since that day, I have never looked back. I have been sober since 2008 — all glory to God.​
​
He took what the enemy meant for destruction and gave me a new life, a new mind, and a new mission.
Today…
I get to walk with others on their own journey toward wholeness and freedom — helping them:
